Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use Crafting Charcuterie Boards, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we do
- Every photo has descriptive alt text that names the board and what's on it.
- Pages use real headings, lists and landmarks so they're easy to navigate with a screen reader.
- Every page has a "Skip to content" link, and everything works with a keyboard.
- Text and background colors are chosen for readable contrast, and the site follows your device's light or dark mode.
- Pages work when you zoom in and on small phone screens.
Known limits
We're a small site and we check pages ourselves, so some problems may slip through. Links to other websites may not meet the same standard.
